Welcome to Robonova.i! Shenzhen Intelligent Technology Co. ("Robonova.i," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Robonova.i mobile and web applications. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, and share your information when you use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the Services, we may collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Such as your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with a third-party service like Google or Apple, we receive details about that login depending on your chosen account settings.
- Profile information: Your date of birth, pronouns, and work status provided at registration.
- Messages and content: This includes messages you send or receive, as well as any photos, videos, voice recordings, or other content you provide.
- Audio and Video Call Data: To provide real-time audio and video interaction, we request access to your camera and microphone. During calls, we process real-time audio and video stream data; however, this data is used for transmission only and is not stored by us.
- Payment and Transaction Information: When you make purchases within the app (e.g., subscriptions or virtual items) via Google Play, we collect transaction details such as the order ID, transaction date, amount, and product type. Note: We do not collect or store your credit card numbers or banking details. Financial transactions are processed securely and directly by Google.
- Device and Push Notification Data: To facilitate push notifications (via Google FCM), we collect device-specific information, including your device model, operating system version, and a unique Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token.
- Service/Operation Logs: We collect network logs, performance data (e.g., call quality metrics), and functional data to ensure service stability and diagnose technical issues.
- Interests and preferences: Your conversation and communication preferences. Over time, we may also infer your interests to personalize your experience.
- Matching information such as constellation and MBTI preferences: Information including your constellation, gender and MBTI provided voluntarily by you when completing the constellation matching filter. Such data is only collected to facilitate intelligent matching of creators and AI companions within the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for purposes such as:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Services: Including real-time audio, video, instant messaging transmissions, and managing your account.
- Processing Transactions: To verify specific receipts with Google Play to facilitate your in-app purchases and manage subscription statuses.
- Sending Notifications: Using Google FCM to send you service updates, message alerts, and security notifications. You can manage these preferences in your device settings.
- Personalizing your experience: Including tailored content and recommendations.
- Understanding and analyzing usage: To develop new products and functionality.
- Communicating with you: Responding to requests and offering customer support.
- Training and developing: Improving our AI and machine learning models.
- Detecting and preventing: Fraud or safety issues.
- Sensitive Information: You may choose to share sensitive information (e.g., religious beliefs, health). By providing this, you consent to its use to enhance AI companion interactions. We will never use sensitive information or conversation content for marketing or advertising.
- Intelligent Matching Service: We use your voluntarily submitted information including constellation, gender and MBTI to recommend matching creators and AI companions per matching rules. Such matching data shall be used solely for in-app personalized matching recommendation, and will not be shared externally, applied for advertising marketing or commercial promotion.
3. Third-Party SDK Integration and Sharing
To provide high-quality services and essential functionality, we integrate the following third-party SDKs:
- Shengwang (Agora) SDK: Data Shared: Processes device information, network status, and audio/video stream data. Purpose: To provide stable, low-latency real-time communication services.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Data Shared: Device Instance ID, FCM registration token. Purpose: To deliver real-time push notifications to your device.
- Google Play Billing: Data Shared: Purchase tokens, order IDs, and product identifiers. Purpose: To securely process payments and validate subscriptions without exposing your financial details to us.
- Stripe SDK: Data Shared: Payment method details (tokenized), transaction amount, currency, order ID, and device information necessary for fraud prevention. Purpose: To process payments made via credit card or other payment methods supported by Stripe, ensuring secure and reliable transaction handling.
- Alipay SDK: Data Shared: Payment confirmation, order information, and device data required for Alipay's payment processing and risk management. Purpose: To enable users to complete payments using their Alipay account. (Note: This payment method is facilitated through our integration with the Stripe SDK).
- PayPal SDK: Data Shared: Transaction details (e.g., order ID, amount), customer’s PayPal account information (as provided by PayPal), and device data for fraud detection. Purpose: To facilitate payments through PayPal, allowing users to pay via their PayPal balance, linked cards, or bank accounts.
- Security Assurance: Our third-party providers comply with international standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2 Type II certifications.
4. Security of Your Information
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption: All data in transit is protected using TLS/HTTPS and AES-128/256 encryption to prevent unauthorized interception.
- Authentication: We use Token-based authentication to ensure only authorized users can access call sessions.
- Geo-fencing: We may utilize network geo-fencing technology to restrict the transmission and storage of audio and video data to specific regions as required by law.
- Account Protection: Your account is password-protected, and you are responsible for keeping login details secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Policy:
- Real-time Stream Data: Audio and video data are not stored and are deleted immediately after transmission.
- Cloud Recordings: If utilized, recording data is deleted immediately after the session or within 7 days if a push fails.
- Transaction Records: Purchase history and order IDs are retained as required by tax and accounting laws (typically up to 7 years depending on jurisdiction) and to service your subscription.
- FCM Tokens: Retained as long as the application is installed and your account is active, to ensure message delivery.
- Service Logs: These are generally deleted every 30 days.
- Account Data: Retained until you delete your account or as required for legal and accounting obligations.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may request to:
- Access, correct, or obtain a copy of your personal data.
- Delete personal information or your entire account.
- Withdraw consent for processing (e.g., revoking camera/microphone permissions or disabling push notifications via device settings).
- Object to or restrict our processing of data.

7. Use of Robonova.i by Minors
The Services are not intended for individuals under 18. If we discover a minor is using the Apps, we will block access and delete the account and related personal data.
